AutocardAnywhere – The only way to browse

I’ve become so used to the Chrome plugin AutocardAnywhere that I often assume everyone can do what it does for me.  How many times are you reading an article/blog where someone is listing a bunch of cards, but you have no idea exactly what it does, or how much it is worth?  It happened to me a lot so I was going to build something, but found AutocardAnywhere.

It adds mouseover capability on text that is the name of a Magic card, which will show you the card, and some current price information.  Here is it in action on one of my recent posts:

Here I have moused over the red text “Ghost Quarter” to get the little popup.

I couldn’t read about MtG without it.  Check it out for yourself if you don’t already use it.

Merfolk > UB Fairies

I haven’t played much MtG recently, but fired up Merfolk tonight.  I thought UB Fairies would be a good matchup but it went to 3 games.

I had one game where I had a Mutavault and Aether Vial in my draw, which I kept.  I went on to not draw a single blue source of mana the whole game.

Another game I didn’t see a single land until I drew 4 cards, and that hand was 3 lands, 1 Vapor Snag.  I kept that hand.

So I did win one of those games, which was it?
